The political atmosphere in Ikorodu North LCDA is not giving aspirants any loop for relaxing at all as the former chairman of the council, Hon. Kunle Ogunbela formally joined the race for the Chairmanship position, with the procurement of the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination form.

Hon. Ogunbela, THE IMPACT reports, has commenced signing of the form with appropriate leaders this morning.

You will recall that THE IMPACT on Thursday reported that Otunba Olasunkanmi Tijani, former Vice Chairman to Hon. Ogunbela and later the Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA and currently doubling as the APC chairman, Ikorodu North LGA and that of Ikorodu Division, obtained the nomination form. So also were the incumbent Vice Chairman of the council, Ibraheem Olawale Ameen, Hon. Matthew Adesanya and Mrs Soaga.

THE IMPACT gathered some of the aspirants that Also showed interest in the race are still consulting with the party leaders while others have jettisoned their aspirations due to the unclear political atmosphere.
